Morelos has agreed personal terms with the the Ligue 1 side, but the clubs have yet to thrash out a fee for the Colombian.
And the Daily Record claim Lille will table an offer of £17m to test Rangers' resolve.
It is also claimed West Brom have entered the race for the forward after the Baggies were credited with interest last summer.
