Rangers reveal Europa League squad as Leon Balogun left out for Willem II clash

Rangers have submitted their Europa League squad for Thursday's clash with Willem II.

Steven Gerrard's side travel to the Netherlands to meet the Eredivisie outfit in a third round qualifying clash.

A play off against Galatasaray or Hadjuk Split awaits the winner.

Brandon Barker remains injured and has been left out of the squad announced on UEFA's website.

Jordan Jones wasn't included on that same list last week but travelled to Gibraltar for the 5-0 rout of Lincoln Red Imps without making the bench.

The Northern Ireland international has, however, been included this time around. Ryan Jack, too, has been included although Ibrox boss Gerrard admitted last week the midfielder faces a minimum "few weeks" on the sidelines.

There's also no place for Leon Balogun despite the centre-back returning to the fold for Sunday's 2-2 draw with Hibs.

He hasn't featured since the 3-0 win over St Johnstone on August 12.

There's been no indication Balogun has relapsed since the weekend. He's likely to be well short of match fitness and it seems unlikely he would have featured against the Dutch outfit this week.
