Belgium recently called up Raskin for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Liechtenstein and Kazakhstan.
"There's a lot of competition in midfield," said boss Rudi Garcia. "Nico Raskin took his place in March in the squad and has done well.
"And we have lost Amadou Onana to injury, we need balance in midfield.
"I am happy with the players in midfield - it's a strong position for us."
