Rangers legend Gazza sends Facebook message to missing Scots teen

Rangers legend Gazza has urged a missing Scottish teen to get in touch with his worried family.

Paul Gascoigne took to social media to appeal to Kai Rae to return home.

The 16-year-old was last seen at home at 9am on Monday November 23 in Halfway, Cambuslang. He packed clothes and cash before heading out.

In a video message Gazza said: “Hi Kai, it’s Gazza here. Do us a favour? Please get home. People are missing you.”

The footballer then blew a kiss at the camera.

The video, organised by a friend of Kai's family Alex Black, was shared in a bid to encourage the teen to get in touch with his loved ones.

Sister Alisha Rae said Kai's disappearance was out of character and his family have reported him missing to police.

Alisha, 19, said: “It is not like him at all to do this. My mum came home from the school run at about 9am and he was gone.

Paul Gascoigne issued the message to Kai on Facebook (Facebook)

“No-one has heard anything from him at all. We have been all over town and into Cumbernauld to find him.”

Kai is a student mechanic at Anniesland College, Glasgow.

Alisha said: “He wanted to stay with me during the week and he couldn’t so that might be behind it.

“Everyone is very worried and just wants him to get in touch.”
