Rangers FC are hiring an events and stadium tours executive - here's how to apply

Rangers FC are looking for an events and stadium tours executive with the full-time, permanent post based at Ibrox Stadium.

The successful candidate will have the chance to work across lots of events in the Rangers FC calendar including VIP dinners, legends matches, golf days and more.

A statement from Rangers FC read: "Rangers Football Club’s Events and Stadium Tour business is going through an exciting period of growth and this is set to continue with the opening of New Edmiston House, the club’s very own multi-purpose live events space and club museum. To support the continued growth of the club’s event portfolio and to support the integration of events and stadium tours into New Edmiston House and the club museum, an opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial & Marketing department as an Event and Stadium Tours Executive.

"This role will give the right candidate the opportunity to work across Rangers’ active and diverse events calendar which includes stadium tours (and the club museum), VIP dinners, Legends matches, live screenings, golf days, match-day activity, family focused events and much more."

Key responsibilities

  • Support the development of a highly profitable and 'always on' Rangers’ events calendar.
  • Focus on the delivery, expansion and modernisation of the stadium tour experience and the opening of the new club museum in New Edmiston House, which involves creating and managing the stadium tour schedule, liaising with the group of tour guides, creating the booking links for visitors, managing stadium tour related communications to guests and working with agencies and suppliers.
  • Manage the events inbox and liaise with the Rangers customer service team when necessary.
  • Have a passion for developing best in class events and matchday experience is key to this role therefore continuously researching the entertainment and events market for innovation will be vital.
  • Support the production and operational delivery of events from concept through to completion.
  • Liaise with a number of club departments and teams including commercial partnerships, hospitality, digital content, marketing, RangersTV, operations, new Edmiston House management team and the Football department.

Candidate attributes include

  • Experience working in live events is desirable.
  • Degree in Event or Business Management or equivalent experience within a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • A passion for developing best in class events and matchday experience.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Undertake any necessary internal or external training sessions in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures.

The closing date for applications is August 26. Salary amount is dependent on experience.
