Rangers fans leaving Ibrox tonight should expect traffic chaos after the M8 was closed eastbound at Junction 22 due to a major accident.
The M77 is also closed northbound after J1 to allow vehicles on to the M8 to assist.
Traffic Scotland have tweeted the official RangersFC twitter account asking for supporters to be warned about the problems facing drivers as they leave their game against Hamilton at Ibrox tonight.
They tweeted saying: "Could you please make spectators at Ibrox aware that the #M8 is CLOSED eastbound at J22 - and the #M77 is CLOSED northbound after J1 to assist - there will more than likely be heavy traffic in the area."
Traffic Scotland say the problems are due to a serious road traffic incident.
Rangers game against Hamilton ended 0-1 to Hamilton.
The Ibrox side now fall to 13 points behind Celtic after they drew at Livingston.
