Rangers confirm Spain winter training camp including Hertha Berlin friendly

Philippe Clement and his Rangers squad will head to Spain for a training camp during the winter break.

The club has confirmed plans for "intensive camp" next month ahead of the second half of the season.

Rangers already had a friendly scheduled for during the break with Copenhagen to visit Ibrox stadium on January 16.

Now, a fixture against Hertha Berlin has also been scheduled and will take place in Spain.

Clement's side will take on Hertha in a closed-doors match during the training camp. Suppoerters will not be granted access to the match, however, it will be streamed for free by Rangers TV.

A club statement confirmed: "Rangers will travel to Spain for a winter training camp to allow Philippe Clement the opportunity to prepare his squad for the second half of the season.

"Gers will be abroad for an intensive camp in January before returning for the Copenhagen match at Ibrox on Tuesday, 16 January.

"Whilst in Spain, Rangers will take on Hertha Berlin in a closed-door match. Supporters are urged not to travel as access will not be granted.

"The game will, however, be streamed for free by RangersTV. Further details will follow in due course.

"Tickets remain on sale for the Copenhagen friendly match, priced £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for kids, with Junior MyGers members going for just £1! You can also enjoy the game in style with VIP packages starting from just £99."
