Ranchi-Banaras Express to resume from August 20

Banaras Ranchi Railways Patna

PATNA: Railways has decided to restore the services of Ranchi-Banaras Express (18611/18612) from August 20 to fulfil the need of passengers travelling on this particular route. This train will leave Ranchi every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8.10pm and reach Banaras at 9.25am the next day. On its return, it will leave Banaras every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 3pm and reach Ranchi at 4.15am next day, ECR CPRO Birendra Kumar said.

The train will have stoppages at Muri, Ramgarh Cantt, Barkakana, Tori, Daltonganj, Garwha Road, Untari Road, Mohammadganj, Haidernagar, Japla, Nabinagar Road, Dehri-on-Sone, Sasaram , Kudra, Bhabhua Road , Pt Deen Dayal Upadhaya Junction, Kasi and Varanasi, he said.
