Rams announce 2019 preseason schedule

We already knew the Los Angeles Rams will host the Dallas Cowboys in Hawaii this upcoming preseason, but now we know their other three opponents. On Tuesday, the Rams announced their 2019 schedule, though exact dates were not released.

They’ll play the Raiders in Oakland during the first week of the preseason, followed by their trip to Hawaii. Then, they’ll host the Broncos at the Coliseum before closing out with an away game against the Texans.

Week 1: at Raiders (Aug. 8-10)

Week 2: vs. Cowboys (Aug. 17 at 7 p.m. PT)

Week 3: vs. Broncos (Aug. 22-24)

Week 4: at Texans (Aug. 29-31)

The Rams caught somewhat of a break with only one of their preseason opponents also being on their regular-season schedule. Last year, they faced both the Raiders and Saints in the regular season, taking on Oakland in Week 1.

This is the third straight year the Rams will face the Raiders in the preseason and the third time in four years they’ll take on Dallas. Those are two of the most familiar preseason opponents for L.A. since 2016.

Unfortunately, none of the Rams’ four preseason games will be nationally televised as there are only eight such games total.

The exact dates and times of each preseason game will be announced at a later time, though we know the Rams-Cowboys game in Hawaii will kick off at 4 p.m. HST.
