RAJKOT: If you get a phone call from people identifying themselves as executives of telecom companies, disconnet as you may otherwise lose your hard-earned money.
A contractor in Rajkot lost Rs 8 lakh after he downloaded an application following a phone call. On April 17, Rohit Vekariya of Om Enterprise, got a call from a ‘nodal officer’ of telecom company who asked him to download the app.
Vekariya lodged a plaint with cyber cops on Friday.
