BIKANER: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ABC) has arrested a middleman posing as representative of Kundal gram panchayat sarpanch of Khajuwala sub-division in Bikaner for allegedly taking bribe from a Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) beneficiary.
ACB sleuths on Monday arrested the brother-in-law of Kundal sarpanch, Om Prakash Tard, after he demanded bribe for payment of amount received under PMAY. The trap was laid after the complainant approached ACB that the accused was demanding Rs 20,000 as bribe for geo-tagging of his home built under PMAY.
