Raise a toast to the limited-edition Floriade gin

After tiptoeing through the tulips, why not enjoy a tipple inspired by Floriade.

Canberra's Underground Spirits has created a limited-edition Lakeside Gin that is only available at Floriade, which opens in Commonwealth Park on Saturday.

Underground Spirits CEO Claudia Roughley said the gin "evokes thoughts of fresh flowers blooming".

"This gin is fresh, subtle and delicate," she said.

Underground Spirits is Floriade's official gin and vodka partner for the second year in a row.

Lakeside Gin is available for purchase only onsite at the Floriade Shop, or from Underground's Ginternational pop-up bar onsite for the month of Floriade. It will retail at $95 per bottle.

At the Floriade pop-up bar, cocktails from around the world will be sold to reflect the flower festival's World in Bloom theme.

Floriade continues until October 13.
