The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for heavy rain across western Scotland, meaning travel delays may be possible.

Scottish Rail has said that it still plans to operate a normal service but advises travellers to "check their journey routes on their app or website before heading out".

The Met Office has a flood warning in place for Glasgow as of Thursday night (7 October).

According to the Met Office's weather forecast, rain is likely to continue until early afternoon on Friday (8 October).
