Raiders WR Antonio Brown forced 14 missed tackles in 2018

When the Oakland Raiders acquired Antonio Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers, they knew that they were getting one of the best route runners in all of football. Despite not being overly big or lightning fast, Brown just knows how to create instant separation with his routes.

What people might not know about Brown is just how dynamic he is after the catch. According to Pro Football Focus, Brown forced 14 missed tackles in 2018, the fifth-most in the NFL.

If you were to compare Brown with Amari Cooper, both are considered top-tier route runners. But it’s Brown’s ability to win after the catch that separates the two. In Jon Gruden’s West Coast offense, Brown is a perfect fit. Look for him to have a monster season in the Black and Silver in 2019.
