Derek Carr is out in Las Vegas. Jimmy Garoppolo appears to be on his way in with the Raiders.

When the signing becomes official — the league’s new year starts on March 15 — Garoppolo will be reunited with his former OC in New England, Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels.

McDaniels has to hope Garoppolo is able to avoid injuries and will be able to stay on the field.
He has played in 16 games once, in 2019. Otherwise between being a backup and being injured Garoppolo has spent a lot of time on the sidelines.
He was with the 49ers for the last 6 seasons.
