The Oakland Raiders continue to add talent to their defensive line as they have announced the signing of former Rams’ defensive tackle Ethan Westbrooks.
During his NFL career, Westbrooks has appeared in 67 total games, tallying 79 tackles and nine sacks. He was a key part of the Rams’ defensive line rotation last year, playing in every playoff game.
Westbrooks figures to compete with the likes of Eddie Vanderdoes, P.J. Hall and Jonathan Hankins for a roster spot in Oakland.
In a corresponding move, the team has released two players; defensive tackle Ronald Ollie and tight end Erik Swoope. Both players were signed earlier this offseason and are now subject to waivers.
