Raiders re-sign WR/PR Dwayne Harris

The Oakland Raiders have locked up another valuable piece to their team on Monday as they have announced the re-signing of receiver/punt return Dwayne Harris.

Harris was originally drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in 2011, but signed with the Raiders in 2018 as a free agent. Harris has been mostly used as a special teams player as he has been named the Special Teams Player of the Week six different times in his NFL career.

In 2018, Harris caught just six passes for the Raiders, but it was his impact on special teams that was notable. He averaged a career-high 14.1 yards per punt return, including a 99-yard return against the Broncos on Christmas Eve:

Harris can contribute in multiple ways and is one of the most underrated players on the entire roster. This is a fantastic move by the Raiders as they have locked up one of the best special teams players in the league for another season.
