Farrell’s breakthrough came with Tigerland in 2000. He later appeared in films including Minority Report, Phone Booth, Daredevil, S.W.A.T. and Miami Vice.

His career took a major turn with the 2008 film In Bruges, earning him a Golden Globe for best actor in a comedy or musical.
