1:A - Monti lost the 1930 final while playing for his native Argentina and then won the 1938 final with Italy., 2:D - Rummenigge captained West Germany in the 1982 final (which they lost to Italy) and the 1986 final (which they lost to Argentina). By the time they won the tournament in 1990, Rummenigge had retired., 3:D - In 1958 and 1970. Pelé won three World Cups but he was injured midway through the tournament in 1962., 4:D - Klose scored his 16th goal for Germany in their 7-1 hammering of Brazil in 2014, going clear of Ronaldo as the all-time top scorer in World Cup history., 5:D - In 1994 and 1998. Both came on 21 June. Both were against debutants (Greece and Jamaica).
