Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, was being warmly greeted by Queen Elizabeth II, as he began a three-day visit to Britain on Wednesday.

The Crown Prince arrived in Britain on an official visit, following instructions from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, in response to the invitation of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

On Wednesday morning, the Saudi royal visited Buckingham Palace for talks with Queen Elizabeth and attended a reception banquet.

His schedule includes meeting with UK Prime Minister Theresa May, Prince Charles and Prince William.

May commended on Wednesday the reforms witnessed by Saudi Arabia, saying that the UK will "stand alongside" Saudi Arabia to deliver its vision.

The three-day visit is also due to include a visit with Archbishop of Cantebury Justin Welby and talks with Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson.
