Never mind the Women’s World Cup – the girls’ football team from Quarter Primary are celebrating a hat-trick of wins.
The youngsters were on a high as they picked up the Davie Cooper Soccer 7’s trophy last month.
And that completed a treble for Quarter Primary after the team lifted the Hamilton district and summer five-a-side trophies earlier in the year.
Janitor and coach Felix Dillon said: “Considering the size of our school it is a great achievement for the girls.”
Acting head teacher Susanne Sandilands added: “I’m very proud of our girls’ fabulous achievement.”
