The deaths of infant twins with special needs in Queensland is being probed by child protection police.
Emergency services were called to an apartment block in Bungalow, an inner suburb of Cairns, on Monday morning.
They were unable to revive the infants, who both had special medical needs.
The Cairns Child Protection Investigation Unit is investigating the deaths, police said on Tuesday.
