As the race to become the next Labour leader nears the finish line, Guardian Live is bringing the four contenders together to ask them why they should lead the party’s efforts to rebuild after a crushing election defeat in May.
On Thursday 27 August, Guardian Members will attend a hustings event hosted by Hugh Muir where Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper, Liz Kendall and Jeremy Corbyn will give their vision for Labour’s future:
What should the party stand for? How can it appeal to both disadvantaged and middle class voters? Can it ever recover in Scotland? And does the path back to victory lead left or right?
The event itself has sold out but we’ll be live streaming it from the Membership website for those who can’t make it, and want to take questions from readers. So what question would you like to ask? And who do you want to answer it?
Add your questions by clicking on the blue “contribute” buttons on this article. You can also use the GuardianWitness smartphone app or the Guardian app and search for “GuardianWitness assignments”.
We will collate the questions and put as many as we can to the leadership contenders on the night.
