Pusha T forced to halt gig after brawl breaks out as 'Drake fans' rush the stage

Pusha T was forced to halt his concert in Toronto after a brawl broke out right in front of the stage.

The rapper was performing in the Canadian city when he was showered with drinks thrown at him by concertgoers before some jumped over the safety barrier and tried to rush the stage.

Footage posted on social media shows the 41-year-old rapper on stage before filming a gaggle of people fighting right in front of him.

While initial reports claimed Pusha T was involved in the stage rush, he later confirmed to The Shade Room that he briefly left the stage and was “untouched in the altercation”.

According to reports, the rapper returned with two more songs after the interruption and allegedly blamed Drake fans for the incident.

Pusha T and Drake, who hails from Toronto, have been locked in a feud for some time which intensified earlier this year with the release of tracks from both parties.

Earlier this month, gig-goers at Pusha T’s set during Tyler the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw spotted the words “F*** Drake” behind the rapper. Pusha T later claimed it was an “error” and said that he had not signed off on the backdrop.

In May, Pusha T used new song The Story of Adidon to reveal that Drake had a secret child with a Canadian porn star.

Drake confirmed rumours of his paternity with his own track Scorpion, later opening up about being a father to his “beautiful son” on HBO series The Shop with LeBron James.

Toronto police have confirmed that “numerous people were injured” at Danforth Music Hall, with three taken to hospital.
