PSG 'consider Leroy Sane transfer swoop' as Neymar replacement

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering a move for Manchester City star Leroy Sane to replace Neymar.

Their Brazilian talisman looks set for a summer departure after failing to report for the start of pre-season training as he aims to force through a move.

According to Sport , the Parisian club have started drawing up a list of potential replacements with Sane emerging at the top of the pile amid uncertainty over his future.

The German ace is yet to commit his long-term future to the Premier League champions by signing a new contract sparking interest from Bayern Munich and now PSG have entered the race.

PSG attempted to sign Sane three years ago before he opted to link up with City.

But he has had to settle for a rotational role in Pep Guardiola's squad stacked with attacking options leading to him considering his future.

Bayern Munich have launched an effort to bring him back to the Bundesliga but have been told they must cough up a huge fee of around £90m.

That could put off the Bavarian club and price them out of a move as they also look at Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele as an option.

Yet if Neymar leaves PSG, it is likely to net them a huge fee which could be reinvested in Sane and tempt City to cash-in.

They are in a stronger financial position than Bayern Munich and stand more chance of giving City the fee they can demand for one of their top talents.
