Priyanka Chopra hints at 2025 Bollywood return: 'Very close to doing one movie next year'

Priyanka Chopra has teased fans with the possibility of her return to Bollywood next year! The actress, who has been keeping busy in the West, shooting her multiple film and web series, revealed during an interaction at the Red Sea Film Festival that she is on the verge of signing a new project for 2025.

Expressing her enduring love for India, Indian cinema and potential reunions with her industry friends, the actress said, "India has always been in my heart. Indian films will always be a part of my heart. I'm very close to doing one next year, so keep your fingers crossed. Send good vibes that it works out and that I actually end up doing one next year."

Chopra, who has been focused on international projects like the spy series 'Citadel', also got nostalgic about her time on the sets in India. She said, "I really miss the dancing more than anything."

Speaking to Variety, Chopra says she is seeking out new challenges and is keen to work with filmmakers who can make her 'dig deep' and "push me to explore new roles."

Although she did not reveal specific details about the potential project, her comments have sparked excitement among fans eager to see her return to Bollywood after her last 2019 Hindi-language film, 'The Sky Is Pink'. The actress had announced her reunion with Farhan Akhtar for the film 'Jee Le Zaraa' which would see her co-starring with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. However, since the film's announcement, there has been no new update, fuelling speculation that the movie has been shelved owing to the actresses' busy schedules.

On the international front, she will be seen next in 'Heads of State' and 'The Bluff'. She will also feature in the second season of the spy drama 'Citadel'.
