Private investigator shares 'coded text' clue that your partner may be cheating

Having your suspicions that your partner is not being faithful to you isn't nice at all. Your heart may sink, and you may break out into cold sweats, but the fear of confrontation may be too high, just in case you've got it wrong. You'd need some sound evidence before approaching them with your accusations, but it can be hard to know what to look out for.

People who certainly do know what to look out for are private investigators - those hired to catch unfaithful partners in the act. They're clued in regarding suspicious things to look out for, and common signs that could suggest infidelity.

Tom Martin told The Independent that cheaters always follow the same patterns, but claimed that spotting a couple of red flags isn't a reason to be concerned as all relationships go through changes, and even potential rough patches.

But if there are multiple things that are raising suspicions, then it may be time to be worried.

Some reasons which may cause you to raise your eyebrows are unexplained spending, taking care of themself more than usual, for example, buying and wearing new clothes.

Other warning signs can include missed calls from an unknown number, coded text messages, hating surprises, and prickliness or short temper.

Also, if your partner is going to the gym more frequently, they may have someone in mind as they're working out - or if they're heading to work earlier and coming back later.

Tom Martin said that things have changed recently when it comes to relationships, and he thinks the reason why is something that has developed in recent history.

He added: "The game has changed drastically. And technology is 100 percent the reason why."

But he also warns against not getting too pent up over 'unfounded anxieties', as this could lead to a relationship breakdown for no good reason.
