Prince Harry fans traumatised as Elizabeth Arden cream on penis clip from Spare goes viral

Prince Harry's revelation that he once used Elizabeth Arden cream on his penis has gone viral.

The Duke of Sussex, 38, has clearly spared no details in his new book Spare – in which he recalled getting frostnip on his penis during a trip to the North Pole.

In the book the Duke of Sussex revealed his penis was "borderline traumatised" by the injury.

However, fans were left in shock over an extract from the book where Harry discusses the remedies he used to help ease the discomfort from the injury – which included a cream used by his late mother Princess Diana.

Harry revealed he was told by a friend to use an Elizabeth Arden cream on his "todger" in an extract of his book.

An extract reads: "I'd been trying some home remedies, including one recommended by a friend, she'd urged me to apply Elizabeth Arden cream.

"'My mum used that on her lips, you want me to put that on my todger?!', 'It works Harry, trust me'.

"I found a tube and the minute I opened it, the smell transported me through time. I felt as if my mother was right there in the room and I took a smidge and applied it down there."

As the extract from the book was shared on Twitter, fan's couldn't help but react – with one branding it a "Freudian nightmare".

"I need therapy after listening to this," one joked.

Another added: "I am howling … 8 Hour Todger Cream".

"Please, please tell me this is fake," a third urged.

While another said: "In his quest to seek out more privacy, Prince Harry is now talking about his penis."

During his interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show earlier this week, Harry went into more detail about his frostnip incident.

As host Stephen, 58, quizzed the prince on specific sections of his book, he turned his attention to a passage which detailed Harry getting frostbite on his penis.

Telling Stephen to open up on the events, Harry labelled his manhood his "todger," much to the amusement of the host, who called it a "very gentle word".

After a funny back and forth surrounding the word, Stephen asked his guest how he managed to get frostnip on his North Pole escapade.

Harry said: "It's really hard to have this conversation because there's no one in this audience that has probably read the book yet apart from you and me."

The Duke of Sussex was then quizzed on when he realised he had issues with his 'South Pole', to which the prince revealed: "Once I got home.

"The problem was – firstly, it didn't turn into icicle," he explained before saying, thankfully, he is fine now.

He continued: "The context was these amazing veterans were doing a walk to the North Pole. They had all the training – I had none. And I turned up thinking 'how bad can this be?'"

"It's only the North Pole. It's only minus 35 degrees," Harry explained before adding: "I've got the salopettes, I've got the jacket, I've got the warm stuff. I've got all of the things that I need.

"But what I didn't have was what I had when I actually went to the South Pole which was a c*** cushion."
