Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to reunite with Oprah Winfrey once again.
Just two months since their last explosive interview with the American chat show royalty, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be sharing more about their life and mental wellbeing as part of a special episode of Harry and Oprah’s new series.
The Me You Can’t See by Apple TV is a documentary series led by Oprah and Harry where they invite celebrities to talk about their mental health and wellbeing.
Now, just a week after the original series dropped, The Me You Can’t See: A Path Forward, is airing on Friday May 28 and will feature Harry and Meghan, mental health experts, Glenn Close and Zak Williams (son of the late Robin Williams), to reflect on the series and ask-where do we go from here?
A statement was made on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Archewell website on 26 May saying: ‘When we hear others’ stories, it empowers us to share our own. And The Me You Can’t See , Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey’s new critically acclaimed, multipart docu-series, is doing just that: inspiring people worldwide to share their stories and talk openly about issues of mental health and emotional well-being.’
Harry has already been interviewed by Oprah in this series where he unveiled his experiences with therapy, relationship with drugs and spoke further about his family.
He said : "I feel as though I'm outside of the system but I'm still stuck there," he revealed. "The only way to free yourself and break out is to tell the truth."
Referring to his father’s way of upbringing he said in the opening episode: "Just because you suffered doesn’t mean that your kids have to suffer, in fact quite the opposite – if you suffered, do everything you can to make sure that whatever negative experiences you had, that you can make it right for your kids.”
Prince Harry is due to visit the UK in June for the unveiling of a statue in memory of his mother Princess Diana.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were recently in Edinburgh as part of their Scotland visit.
