Amazon's Big Deal Days are over now, and as usual it was two days of epic bargains on accessories like strings, picks, capos, and all the essentials a guitarist needs. In terms of gear like guitars and pedals, the Prime Day guitar deals weren't quite as fruitful but thankfully traditional retailers stepped up with some mega sales.
One of those sales is still going, with the Rocktober sale at Musician's Friend delivering a superlative number of discounts. with over 9,000 reduced items included in the sale it's one of the biggest and best sales still around post-Prime Day.
Fender still has a nice sale on acoustic guitars too, with 10% off the striking Paramount series instruments. It's a small sale with just the four guitars in it, but all of them deliver excellent playability and fantastic looks. There's a super cool resonator guitar in the sale too if you fancy something different.
Below you'll find all the sales that are still live at Amazon and beyond now that Prime Big Deal Days is officially over. I've also curated a handpicked selection of individual deals for you that are still available, but now that Prime Day is finished you'll need to move fast as I don't know how much longer they'll stick around.
The next major sales will likely happen when the Black Friday guitar deals start landing, usually around the beginning of November. As usual, we'll be on hand to bring you the very best deals on guitar gear.

Prime Day guitar deals 2025: Amazon device deals
With Prime Day being an Amazon invention, there's naturally big savings on Amazon's own innovative products too. So, if you've been thinking about purchasing an Amazon Echo device, like the music-friendly Echo Studio, or the compact Echo Dot, Prime Day is the time to get a big discount.
In the past, Amazon has also run bundle deals on its smart speakers that include free subscriptions to their Music Unlimited streaming service for up to 6 months.
Amazon is also responsible for rad gadgets like the Ring video doorbell and Kindle e-readers too. Head over to Amazon's Prime Day deals page for all the latest early offers or check out our price widget below for today's best offers.
Prime Day guitar deals 2025 FAQ

When is Prime Day 2?
Amazon Prime Day 2 has traditionally always taken place at some point in October. It's not officially called Prime Day 2 though, even though most people refer to it this way. This year, Amazon's Big Deal Days will take place on the 7th and 8th of October.
You can keep tabs on all the latest Prime Day 2 news at Amazon's own Big Deal Days page. In our experience, the deals aren't isolated to just the two days of Prime Day 2, with many appearing ahead of time, and some sticking around for a few days after the event, too.
When does Prime Day 2025 end?
Prime Day officially ends at midnight on October 8th. But that doesn't mean there aren't still deals to be picked up after that time. Many Prime Day deals will hang around for a little bit after the end of the official sale, so if you're late to the party, you might still be able to grab hold of that discount.
Do I need a Prime subscription for Prime Day?
If you want to take advantage of Amazon’s Prime Day guitar deals the answer is a big fat yes. Amazon always offers free trials to those who haven't used the service before, so if you were feeling tactical you could sign up for a free trial closer to the event, grab the most enticing bargains and then cancel your subscription once the items are in your hands, but we didn’t tell you to do that...
There are plenty of perks to being an Amazon Prime Member, of course, including faster delivery options, exclusive deals and access to Prime Music and Prime Video, so it could be worth becoming a fully paid up member if you're a regular Amazon shopper.
At the time of writing, a monthly Amazon Prime subscription costs $14.99/£7.99 (which you can cancel at any time) and a yearly option is $139/£79.
There's also a student tier available that currently costs $7.49/£3.99 per month or $69/£39 per year.
Where can I find the best non-Amazon guitar deals?
In 2023 and 2024, in addition to Amazon, there were great guitar discounts doing the rounds from Fender Play, Musician’s Friend and Guitar Center, plus Walmart and Best Buy on everything from beginner acoustic guitars to reverb pedals. We’re hoping for more guitar activity from retailers including Sweetwater in 2025. We heard whispers of some great guitar offers on the horizon, so watch this space.
Although it’s an Amazon invention, Prime Day has always created a buzz and gets people in the mood for a bargain. Because of this, we’re confident more retailers will get involved with great Prime Day guitar deals this year.
Last year, we also saw certain retailers offer discount codes of up to 20% on a whole range of great guitar gear.
Are things really cheaper on Prime Day?
Short answer, yes they are. Every Prime Day deal you see on this page will be a legit discount, as it's been personally checked by one of our team. We often price-check our deals on competitor sites too so you get a true picture of the actual savings you're making.
