Primark shoppers looking to find the perfect Christmas outfit have been left divided after discovering an ‘absolutely rank’ festive knit emblazoned with sausage rolls. Of course, it’s part of the high street fashion giant’s latest collaboration with baked goods store Greggs - but it’s certainly not to everyone’s taste.
The initial Greggs x Primark fashion collection was a sell-out success earlier this year, followed by a festival themed collection in summer. Now, with Christmas around the corner, they’ve released a brand new 24-piece collaboration that’s caused a bit of a stir on social media.
Patterned with the bakery’s much loved sausage rolls, the Greggs x Primark Christmas jumper comes in at £17. But shoppers had a LOT to say about it when Primark shared a snap of it on Facebook and Instagram.

The retailer shared a post which read: “Believe your eyes, a Sausage Roll emblazoned festive jumper has landed! Our brand-new Greggs and Primark Christmas collection is in-store now. Christmas Jumper £17.”
And it’s true, you can now find the whole collection in Primark. We spotted a selection at the Trafford Centre store yesterday, should you fancy one for yourself.
Not everyone has been keen about the blue festive knit, with Louise Thomas writing: “They are awful, wouldn't even line my cat's bed with it.”
Ted Jackson commented: “Love a Gregg’s but not a jumper,” while Kathryn Walker described it as “Absolutely rank”.
Kim Cowen Smith wrote: “I wouldn’t even wear that if I worked in the shop,” as Sandra Carr admitted: “They'd need to pay me to wear one.”
But some people are desperate to get their hands on one in time for Christmas. Lucy Judge commented: “Do they do these in kids? My 6 year old genuinely wants them! She loves Greggs!” Meanwhile Michelle Louise wanted to add it to her collection of retailer jumpers, writing: “This will look great alongside my Lidl and Tesco jumpers!”

As well as the £17.00 jumper, the collaboration also features a Oodie dupe hooded throw, fur-lined clogs, and some pyjamas, perfect for those looking to keep cosy this winter.
There's also a Greggs bobble hat and a variety of stocking fillers, from water bottles to phone cases. Greggs's gift bags and wrapping paper are also available to buy in store.
