Primark is selling a ribbed crop top that's just like an Urban Outfitters version - but for a fraction of the price.
Primark, which is hugely popular in Liverpool, has become known for its designer dupes in recent years, often selling alternative versions to high-end products for much less. This time around, the retailer is selling a £4 ribbed crop top which shoppers say is very similar to a £20 Urban Outfitters top, reports BristolLive.
A video that was shared to TikTok has since racked up more than one million views, shows the top from Primark and the different ways you can wear it. It was captioned: “More affordable version of the Urban Outfitters Josie top, so comfy too”.

The high street store has been stocking its Seamfree Ribbed Top for a few months now but they keep flying off the shelves due to their popularity. On the Primark website, the product description read: “We can’t get enough of classic silhouettes this season and you shouldn’t either! Fashioned with a deep V-neckline, a sleeveless design and ribbed finish, this crop top is bound to bring a versatile touch to your seasonal wardrobe.
“Pair it with mom jeans, canvas trainers and an oversized blazer for a smart-casual look, or go above and beyond with the matching rib leggings, a biker jacket and some killer heels on your next night out. The options are endless! You’re spoiled for choice with multiple stunning colourways to choose from!”
The Primark top comes in a range of seven colours; black, pink, lime, blue, green, purple and a white striped one and it can be purchased in sizes XS to XXL. The Primark Seamfree Ribbed Top is priced at £4 while the Urban Outfitters Recycled Josie Ribbed V-Neck Vest costs £20.
Shoppers on TikTok were praising the Primark top saying they: “will be in Primark every day until I get one now” while another added: “Primark will be seeing me tomorrow morning!!!”
A third added: “I want one now” while another said: “not me putting it down as I didn't like the low neckline and now I need it.”
While Primark doesn't offer an online shop, the retailer does have a website where shoppers can see its latest products and check if they're in stock before heading into stores to purchase them. The £4 Primark Seamfree Ribbed Top is in stores now.
