Pregnant Love Island star Amy Hart rushed home from holiday after suffering 'bleed'

Pregnant Love Island star Amy Hart has revealed she suffered a 'bleed' on a recent trip to Spain.

The blonde beauty, 30, was on holiday when she had to cut her trip short after a scare involving her unborn baby.

In an Instagram video, the star explained: “I started bleeding and I thought I was A+ blood type, and my midwife kept saying it's a good job I am that blood type.

“She said if I was a negative blood type then I would need an Anti-D but go and get checked out on Monday.

“I was being very positive and thought it was nothing bad but just because I had been for a cervical exam and thought that's all it is.

The beauty continued: “I said to myself, 'We'll be back here next September with our baby'. The next morning, Sam said, 'It's OK to be anxious about these things, you know'

However, the former air hostess was shocked to learn her blood type was negative after her mum opened a hospital letter for Amy while she was on holiday.

Amy explained that she “started to panic” when she found out she had “72 hours” to develop an immune response.

She shared: “You need an injection within 72 hours ideally so I moved my flight earlier, I went straight to hospital when I landed and they managed to fit me in.

"I had a consultation with the nurse and she said she was going to try and find the heartbeat but wasn't sure she could as I'm only 15 weeks.

“She couldn't find it after trying but managed to sweet talk someone into giving me a quick scan to check and the baby was all fine.

“I then had to have a blood test, wait an hour and a half and then have my Anti-D injection so hopefully that's all fine.”

Amy concluded that thankfully both she and baby are fine.

Amy's rep told us: "Amy did have a recent health scare with her pregnancy, but stayed calm about the situation.

"She was checked at her local hospital and thankfully both she and the baby are fine."

The star has candidly shared her journey to motherhood, including freezing her eggs aged 27 before she fell pregnant naturally.
