Sharing a video with her 1.1 million followers in her Instagram stories, Amy said: “Just done my first shift back at the food bank.

“Forgot how much I missed it, so can’t wait to start going back a bit more. There’s certain jobs that I can do there now, we’ve worked out, so I can just sit and do those jobs while everyone else does all the heavy lifting.”

Urging others to volunteer or give to food banks if they can, Amy continued: “I just wanted to say that food banks are really struggling at the moment –I know lots of people are."

She continued: “But if you are able to when you go to the supermarket, don’t forget to pick up a few little extra bits to put in the food bank trolley if you can.

“And also volunteering is so much fun. If you have a couple of hours a week that you can spare to help organisations or become a dementia friend.

“Honestly it’s so rewarding, you meet amazing people that become friends you would never have met anywhere else and I’m really glad I started volunteering – I think other people should too because I think you’ll really enjoy it.”

Amy shot to fame on Love Island when Curtis dumped her (ITV)

Amy won the hearts of the nation when she famously left the Love Island villa after getting dumped by Curtis Pritchard.

At the time Amy and Curtis were 'half-boyfriend and half-girlfriend' as Casa Amor came around and she was ready to drop the L-bomb.

So she was devastated to find out Curtis had been cracking on with newbie Jourdan Riane.

"I thought I’d met my first love and ‘the one’ and it turns out I haven’t. I’m someone’s back-up plan yet again,” she sobbed at the time.

Fast forward three years and former air hostess Amy has started a new life working in theatre production and finally met the love of her life.

She went public with entrepreneur Sam Rason in August last year and announced she was pregnant in August meaning she is due in early 2023.

The couple also plan on getting married within the next 18 months but have yet to formerly announce their engagement.
