Pregnant Laura Anderson blasts online trolls and launches 'zero tolerance policy'

Pregnant Laura Anderson hits out at cruel trolls and says she has a 'zero tolerance policy' on nasty comments.

The Scots Love Island alumni is pregnant with her first child with ex-boyfriend Gary Lucy. The pair met on Celebs Go Dating last year and enjoyed a whirlwind relationship before announcing their split earlier this year.

Laura, 33, shared a screenshot of a DM one cruel troll sent her and issued a statement to fans that she has a 'zero tolerance' for negative and nasty comments towards her and her pregnancy. In the screenshot, one user messaged Laura: “WTF do you know about babies? You ain’t even had yours. God, you have no shame.”

Laura, who has previously spoken out about the 'damaging' social media abuse she has faced in her pregnancy, wrote: “Basically if I receive any negative comment or dm regarding my pregnancy – you will be blocked.”

She continued: “Zero tolerance on my page and this isn’t just for my benefit but to the benefit of many influential young mothers out there struggling they do not need to see hate.

“Let people enjoy what should be a magical time and go work on bettering your own life."

This isn't the first time Laura has had to shut down trolls, as she told fans last week she was left with no choice but to block accounts sending her nasty messages. "I don't like to share the negativity I receive on here but it has been more than usual recently," she told fans.

"I have blocked so many people for disgusting and damaging comments. It blows my mind that people conjure up such strong assumptions of what they think goes on behind closed doors or bull crap media stories.

"Never in my life did I think I could receive negative accusations on my character from strangers while going through a break up and pregnant. My tolerance for trolling at the minute is SO low."

She continued: "It's honestly so damaging to mental and physical health I thought this was obvious.

"Thankfully the positive outweighs the negative but sometimes it's hard to see when you're in the firing line. I really appreciate the amazing messages and I support you right back.

"Rant over, cheers to the normal people you keep me sane online," she wrote as she shared a kiss with her fans. The Scots influencer recently opened up about feeling her baby kicking for the first time in a sweet post.

"We have movement people," Laura captioned the post. "At first I thought the flutter was my funky bowel upset by my pasta intake but all night long baba was giving me the elbow.

"Love you, sh**s getting real," the reality star added.
