Pregnant Kate Ferdinand shares baby joy in first interview since announcing news

Kate Ferdinand delighted fans with a sweet update on her pregnancy.

The former TOWIE bombshell will become a mother for the first time after she became stepmother to her hubby Rio's three children Lorenz, 13, Tate, 11, and Tia, nine.

Pregnancy has already brought about major changes for Kate, 29, as she admitted she was left feeling "more tired at times".

Although she has had to slow down on her usual pace of exercise, the fitness guru has been staying active and "feeling good" by going on long walks with her family.

In the first time talking at length about her pregnancy, Kate updated fans on her life.

She told the MailOnline : "I think being pregnant it does change, you are a bit more tired at times but I try to stay active as it's good for my mind.

"We go for walks with the family, stuff like that, it doesn't always have to be crazy exercise just as long as you're moving more than you're sitting, you still feel good."

Lockdown proved to be a challenge for the blonde bombshell.

Kate has been trying to stay on top of homeschooling the kids while cleaning her home, staying active and keeping up with her own work.

The reality star confessed the quarantine has been a "bit draining and difficult" at times.

She added: "Up until the last month or so, I've found it [lockdown] a bit draining and difficult just with the homeschooling and keeping on top of everything."

Shortly before her pregnancy announcement, Kate turned 29 in style with Rio throwing her a lavish lockdown bash.

Rio and Kate also headed out to the Black Lives Matter protest during the lockdown to show their support for the movement sweeping the globe.
