Shakhtar's stunning 4-1 win in Leipzig has piled the pressure on Celtic who sit bottom of Group F after an their 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid on matchday one.

Furthermore, they were beaten in the xG battle on the night and it is almost unheard of for a side to win by that margin yet not come away with the superior xG total.

Celtic haven't played since the Madrid game last week but that should mean that they are fresh and fired up for a game that they really need to get something from. If the Bhoys perform to the same level that they did in the first 45 minutes last week then they will give Shakhtar an almighty shock here.
Shakhtar's recent form looks decent on paper but it has holes in it and we saw last season that they often struggled against sides that they would have expected to beat. Back Celtic to get themselves back into this competition with a crucial win.
