Praise for Aldi plate that gets children to eat vegetables

Parents are raving about a plate which they say gets children to eat all their meals without a fight - including vegetables.

The plate has been around for a while but where other retailers have been selling them for £14 you can now pick one up in Aldi for just £6.99.

The plate turns dinner time into playtime by dividing the meal into eight portions - and setting them out on what looks like a game board.

The final square reveals pudding after the rest of the meal is gone.

The plate is called  Fred's Dinner Winner tray  and is available in store and online for £6.99,  reports MirrorOnline.

One parent took to Facebook to write: "She's sat and eaten ALL her dinner including the veg without getting off her seat at all and ate it without arguments! Under the castle at the end is a pudding - she love's it!"

Aldi has been selling the plate since 25th April as part of the recent Baby & Toddler Specialbuy event, so once they're gone, they're gone, but they are still available   on the Aldi website .

You can also pick one up on the likes of Amazon and eBay - albeit for a few extra quid.

Amazon currently have them for  £9.97 including free UK delivery,  while eBay are selling them for  £12.90 with free delivery.

If you shop on Ocado, they're also  on clearance there for £10.50  (previously £14), with plenty of different designs available depending on where you shop.
