MUMBAI: Former Mumbai fast bowler Pradeep Kasliwal has been nominated by the Indian Cricketers' Association as their representative in the Mumbai Cricket Association's Apex Council.
Kasliwal has replaced former India Under-19 captain and first-class player Kiran Powar, who was disqualified in December last year by the MCA's previous Ombudsman Vijaya Tahiliramani on conflict of interest grounds, in the post.
Samantha Lobato is the female representative of ICA in the Apex MCA Council. Kasliwal, who picked up 45 wickets in 15 first-class games@32. 80, has been a selector and director of coaching at the MCA's Indoor Academy at BKC in the past.
