Potential free agent targets for Cardinals in Chiefs-Bills playoff matchup

The Arizona Cardinals didn’t make the playoffs and are in offseason mode. However, it is possible that some future Cardinals are in the playoff now.

Free agency comes in March and teams in the playoffs have players who will have their contracts expire.

The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs play in the final game of the divisional round.

Below are some players set to become free agents in March who would fill roster holes the Cardinals have.

Chiefs LB Drue Tranquill

The Cardinals could use another solid linebacker alongside Kyzir White. Tranquill played in 16 games for the Chiefs in his first season with the team following four with the Chargers. He had 78 tackles, 4.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.

In 2022 for the Chargers, where White also played before going to Philadelphia and then Arizona, he had 146 tackles, five sacks and an interception.

Jones only happens to be arguably the best interior defender in the league.

He had 10.5 sacks this season and 35 over the last three seasons.

Wishful thinking, but he would be a huge addition.

Chiefs CB L'Jarius Sneed

Sneed has 10 career interceptions in four seasons. He has played very well this season and can both cover and tackle.

While the Cardinals have some young talent at cornerback, Sneed would be a huge addition.

Bills DE AJ Epenesa

Buffalo Bills defensive end AJ Epenesa (57) forces New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson (2) out of the pocket.

Epenesa had 6.5 sacks each of the last two seasons but has not been a starter. The Cardinals could certainly use pass-rushing help.

Bills WR Gabriel Davis

Davis is a big-play receiver. He is 6-2 and 225 lbs.

He caught 45 passes for 746 yards and seven touchdowns, averaging 16.6 yards per catch.
