The Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links has been acquired by a Canadian hotel chain.
This will be the Sandman Hotel Group’s first property in Ireland in addition to the three existing ones in the UK.
The 134-room seaside hotel was the former home of the famous Jameson Family, founders of Jameson Irish Whiskey.
The luxury hotel boasts of gorgeous stretches of uninterrupted coastline of the Velvet Strand along with Bernhard Langer-designed championship links golf course, restaurants, meeting and banquet space, and an award-winning spa and fitness centre.

The Sandman Hotel Group is owned by Northland Properties Limited.
