A porn star has suffered humiliation in her debut MMA fight for Bellator after being chased round the cage by her opponent.
Rebecca Bryggman was involved in her first bout for the promoter's, having fought twice previously at amateur level.
The 25-year-old made a name for herself as adult film actress Orion Starr, but is now embarking on a career in mixed martial arts.
However her return to the cage did not go as planned, after being on the receiving end of a pummelling from opponent Elise Reed at Bellator 231.
Bryggman won her two bouts for Triton Fights before signing for Bellator, but was given a lesson by Reed.
She was chased round the cage, before finding herself pinned to the edge, with Reed landing a number of blows.
The referee soon intervened and waved off the contest in round one after Bryggman struggled to defend herself, with the bout ruled in favour of Reed by TKO.
It is a huge set back for Bryggman, who had talked a good game before the fight.
Posting on Instagram prior to the bout, Bryggman said: "Tonight I sacrifice her soul. Can't wait to fight I've worked long and hard for this pro debut and opportunity on @bellatormma.
"I'm so happy and exited I made my dreams a reality and keep striving forward up the ladder. Nothing will stop me...nothing!"
The American was left to eat humble pie after the result, but was adamtn this would not be the last we see of her.
She wrote: "Lost the battle but not the war! Had an amazing opportunity @bellatormma Great fight with @raisingtherufus
"Thank you to my awesome team for supporting me. I will be back for sure and I'm hungry for more fights to come my pro debut was an amazing experience!"
