Popular snack product sold in Tesco stores across Ireland urgently recalled

A popular soup sold in Tesco stores across Ireland has been urgently recalled.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland shared a notice for the Cully & Sully Thai Chicken Soup product.

The 400g product has been hit with a point-of-sale recall notice due to the possible presence of red plastic packaging.

Batches with a use by date of 16/01/2021 and a Batch Code of Batch 1, Batch 2 and Batch 3 are subject to the notice, as are Batch 1, Batch 2, Batch 3 and Batch 4 of packs with a use by date of 22/01/21.

An FSAI spokesman said: "Cully & Sully is recalling batches of its Thai Chicken Soup due to the possible presence of red plastic packaging.

"Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batches."
