Popular Lark Lane restaurant closed 'until further notice' due to Covid-19

A popular Liverpool restaurant has been forced to close its doors “until further notice” due to Covid-19 .

Taj Indian, based on Lark Lane , shared an update with its followers on social media last night confirming the news.

The restaurant said that “due to unforeseen circumstances, caused by Covid-19” the venue would be closed “until further notice”.

In the message to fans, the team wrote: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, caused by COVID-19, the restaurant will be closed until further notice. This, unfortunately, includes New Year's Eve.

“If you have booked with us and you haven't received a call just yet, please message us here.

“We are really sorry for any inconvenience that this causes and we hope to see you all very soon!”.

Fans were quick to comment on the post expressing their sadness at the decision.

Among the comments, one person said: “We miss coming to your Gorgeous restaurant and chatting to the brilliant staff. The food is amazing and we’ll be supporting you when you’re back open, so gutted for you all”.

Another wrote: “Hope to see you guys back soon. We miss the pre-quiz curry and have tried to use deliveroo to keep in supplies!”

A third added: “Very sorry to read this and hope you are all ok and will be open again soon.”
