Popular family-run Ayrshire restaurant set to reopen for takeaways

A popular Irvine restaurant is re-opening its doors this week.

Nancy's Kitchen in Montgomery Street will be back in business for takeaways only from Wednesday.

A phased reopening means the family-run business will only be operational from 11am to 7pm, Wednesdays to Sundays, for the foreseeable future.

Social distancing will be in place with only person allowed in at a time.

There will be no sit-in or available use of toilet facilities.

A delivery service will be available but only to residents in Irvine.

The restaurant's Facebook page said: "With this week's revision to lockdown rules, we're finally in a position to reopen and start serving our awesome food to you again!'
