Edinburgh's Vapiano restaurant is set to reopen after 18 months with a tantalising 50% opening week offer.
The Italian restaurant was forced to shut its doors in March 2020 due to the pandemic, but has announced that it is opening back up to the public on September 27.
To celebrate the reopening, the eatery - which is located just off of St Andrew’s Square on South St David Street - has announced a special discount throughout its first week back.

From Monday to Friday, fans of the restaurant chain will be able to enjoy 50% off all of its dishes - including its Chicken Alfredo and Gamberetti e Spinaci, or the newly-created additions to its specials menu.
When it reopens later this month, the restaurant will also have a refreshed layout - as well a new ordering system where guests scan a QR code when they sit down.
There will also be click and collect, takeaway and Deliveroo options available.
General Manager at Vapiano Andrew Meldrum said: “We’re really excited to be opening our doors again here in Edinburgh!
"It has obviously been a difficult 18 months but now we are delighted to be back with a new look and concept which I'm certain our guests will enjoy. We’re also proud to have created 35 new jobs.
"The messages that we have received from our fans over recent months have been amazing - we genuinely can't wait to deliver the freshest pasta in Edinburgh."
He added: "Vapiano’s fantastic location is ideal for post-work and weekend dining or for those simply wanting to jump out of the office for a quick lunch.
"Our team has been down in London and Manchester training so will be ready and on hand to give the warmest of welcomes and help celebrate our re-opening."
