Popular Dundrum pub closes to make way for dog-friendly boozer

The Eagle House in Dundrum has closed to make way for a new dog-friendly boozer.

The popular tavern has been serving locals for generations in south Dublin. The renovated bar will be called Pye and a new roof garden feature is planned for the venue.

The new boozer is set to open in October 2022 and they have already started taking bookings for Christmas parties. Different sections of the bar can be booked or the entire pub - with a capacity of 300 - can be booked.

Pye will be dog-friendly and, in fact, punters will be encouraged to bring their pooches with them.
