Police 'very concerned' for safety of missing 11-year-old Amira Rocks

Police have launched an appeal to find an 11-year-old girl reported missing in Belfast.

Amira Rocks disappeared from the Cranbrook Gardens area of Belfast and is believed to be in the West Belfast area, the PSNI said.

Cranbrook Gardens is located northeast of the roundabout linking Woodvale Road to Crumlin Road (A55).

Amira is around 5ft2in with shoulder-length brown hair, possibly wearing a crop top and high top converse trainers.

In a Facebook post at 1:42 am on Sunday (November 7), the police said they were "very concerned" about Amira's well-being.

Police North Belfast wrote:

"Police are very concerned about the well-being and whereabouts of missing 11 year old girl, Amira Rocks.

"Amira is missing from the Crabrook Gardens area of Belfast and is believed to be in the West Belfast area.

"She is around 5ft2 with shoulder length brown hair, possibly wearing a crop top and high top converse trainers.

"If you have any information which may assist in locating Amira please contact 101 quoting serial number 1721 of 6th November 2021."
