Nearly 40 cars were hit with fines after police swooped on a notorious illegal parking spot in Liverpool City Centre.
Complaints have been flooding in for some time about cars parking on the pavement on an area of The Strand.
Last week, the ECHO shared shocking footage of at least nine cars parked up on the pavement in the area, with music blasting out from some of the vehicles.

The cars appear to be repeatedly gathering outside or close to the Heavenly Desserts business.
With complaints continuing to roll in, Merseyside Police swooped on those illegally parking in the area at the weekend.
Confirming the action, the force's Roads Policing Unit tweeted: "After numerous complaints about illegal and inconsiderate parking near to Heavenly Desserts in the City centre, officers last night issued 37 fixed penalty notices to the selfish drivers who think it’s ok to park anywhere they like."
The action was warmly welcomed by many on social media.
The Pavements for People twitter account said: "Excellent work, keep it up."
Ryan Davies said: "THIRTY SEVEN! About bloody time. Thank you @MerPolTraffic and hope this spot will now be on your radar on a more regular basis."
But for other people, a fixed penalty notice was not deemed enough for people who repeatedly park illegally like this.
Charlie Belle said: "To these guys a parking ticket is pennies. It is general knowledge this and only a tow would stop them."
Steve agreed, adding: "Should have towed the lot. That would make them think."
Pavement parking and the problem area of The Strand is an issue city centre councillor Nick Small has been raising for some time.
He said these latest shocking scenes have seen the council ramping up its approach, which has resulted in many more fines being handed out.
He said: "I've been raising the issue of anti-social pavement parking in the city centre for some time.
"Things have been bad and getting worse and it's vulnerable pedestrians that lose out.
"I'm delighting that a dedicated team of traffic wardens has been put in place until 10pm in the City Centre to address this.
He added: "I hope that this sends out a loud and clear message that pavement parking won't be tolerated in the city centre and you will be fined."
