Threats from group of men spark police presence in city street

Police maintained a presence at a home following reports a group of men had issued threats.

Officers were called to a property on Utting Avenue East in Norris Green over the weekend in response to concerns about the incident.

An investigation has been launched by Merseyside Police.

Patrols were sent to the home after the force was contacted at 3.35pm on Saturday following reports a "group of males had made verbal threats towards the occupants of a property".

A spokeswoman for the police said nobody was injured and no damage was caused to the property during the incident.

She added that CCTV and house-to-house enquiries have been carried out in the local area and enquiries remain ongoing.
